Shipping policy
We want you to be completely happy with your order from The Guild, and in doing so will aim to get your items to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
The delivery charge is confirmed at the checkout. The average delivery time is 3-5 working days within the UK. We will advise the delivery date within 1 working day of the receipt of your order.
Standard (3-5 working days): We deliver to mainland UK, Northern Ireland & Isle of Man as part of our domestic shipping service. Jersey & the Channel Islands are charged at international rates. Please note that unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO or BFPO boxes as a signature is required upon delivery.
Standard delivery pricing:
- Large Letter Package: £3
- Standard Small Packages (under 2kg dimensional weight): £5
- Standard Medium Packages (between 2kg- 6kg dimensional weight): £10
- Standard Large Packages (between 6kg-15kg dimensional weight): £15
Tracked Delivery: For some of our more expensive and fragile items, we have set a tracked delivery cost against that item. This will come up automatically at check-out. The pricing for these is as follows:
- Large Letter Package: £7.50
- Standard Small Packages (under 1kg dimensional weight): £10
- Standard Medium Packages (between 1kg- 2kg dimensional weight): £12.50
- Standard Large Packages (between 2kg-15kg dimensional weight): £27
Express (1-2 working days): If you need your items sooner, we can expedite your order; please make a note of this at the check out and we will be in touch with an updated delivery cost after you have placed your order.
Remote Areas: Please allow extra time for your order to arrive if you live in a remote area.
Overseas Delivery: Delivery of all works can be arranged to most destinations using a specialist delivery company. Artworks can be ordered via the website and the delivery time and cost will be confirmed within 24 hours and an invoice sent for this amount which can be settled through our website payment provider.
Duties and Taxes: International packages may incur taxes and/or duties, please familiarise yourself with your country’s fees and policies before placing an order. The Poly Guild will enter the full purchase value of orders on customs forms.
Collection from The Guild: We are operating a 'click and collect' service. If you choose to collect from us, we will let you know by email or text message when your order is ready to collect. Collections are available to pick up during our opening hours, Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00. If you would like to arrange collection outside of these days/hours please contact us at info@thepoly.org and we would be happy to help.
Customers are welcome to arrange their own courier to collect items during business hours. In doing so, the customer accepts all costs and any liability involved in hiring this third party service.
Receipt of Goods: On receipt of goods please check them thoroughly to ensure no damage has occurred during transit. Please do not accept or sign for anything before checking.
If circumstances beyond our control delay the arrival of your order, we will endeavour to keep you informed by telephone or email.
Change or cancel an order: We will try our best to fulfil every order as specified in our terms, but delays and cancellations may occur for reasons beyond our control. We reserve the right to cancel any orders for any reason, refunding you for the full amount immediately.
You may cancel your order with us, for any reason, provided you inform us before the item is dispatched for delivery. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to refund you immediately.
Environment Policy: As much as we are able, we aim to reduce the impact on the environment that delivery of our items might entail. We realise harmful carbon emissions are produced in delivering items to you, which is partially addressed by working with more fuel-efficient delivery organisations such as the Royal Mail and our local courier who deliver on a route system, thereby lowering the number of trips made. We also use environmentally friendly packaging wherever possible to do so.
